This custom blended non-chemical fertilizer is designed to get nut trees off to a good start in pH balanced soils. If you know that the soil where you will plant nut trees has been adequately limed or is naturally balanced to a pH of 6 or greater then you can use this fertilizer to add N-P-K and micronutrients that will make your trees happy. If you haven't limed your soil or tested for pH we recommend using our Nut Fertilizer for Sandy West Coast Soils or our Nut Fertilizer for Loamy West Coast Soils.
By remineralizing the soil in which your young trees will grow you allow them to focus on creating a healthy root system and vigorous vegetative growth. A well amended tree will produce nuts sooner and have less trouble with diseases and pests, leaving you happily harvesting instead of solving problems.
