Welcome to Nutcase Nursery

We are nutty about productive, hardy, disease-resistant nut trees.

All of our trees are grown at our small-scale nursery in the Pacific Northwest of BC on Denman Island / Taystay’ich on K'omoks, Qualicum, Pentlach Territories. We use low-tech methods to produce our nut trees without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.

Our mission is to propagate know-how and trees to make nuts a cornerstone of regenerative, productive food systems.

At Nut Case we want to make it easy for folks to grow nut trees.  That is why we have been developing nut growing systems that maximize tree growth and minimize labour inputs without sacrificing our ecological values.  These systems are evolving as we learn from our experience and trial new products and techniques. Our goal is to support people in creating resilient, productive nut plantings that leave a legacy for future generations.
