About

We are Nick and Dylan, nut nerds who want to popularize local nut production and nut culture.  We believe that locally produced nuts should be a large part of a sustainable future and want to help gardeners, farmers, permaculturists and community groups grow nut trees and nut culture.  Our nursery ambitions have evolved from backyard germination experiments to farm scale plantings and nut propagation on a scale that requires us to share our baby trees.  We are working to develop tools and systems that make growing nuts simple, efficient and fun.

Our nuthatchery and permaculture trials are located at the Woven Grove on Denman Island/Taystay’ich on K'omoks, Qualicum, Pentlach Territories.
