Shipping fiberglass stakes is expensive, we suggest choosing a pick-up option if possible.
If you are installing tree tubes in a very windy spot you may want to consider using two stakes (or installing your own heavy duty stake made of hardwood or rebar). Like the preformed tree tubes these are expensive to ship, although they fit nicely in a box together so adding these to your tree tube order shouldn't make a big difference.
These sturdy 5/16" (8 mm) fiberglass stakes are a great way to support trees in windy areas, especially if pruning fast growing seedlings to a single leader.
We recommend using two of these fiberglass stakes when installing tree tubes on sites exposed to high winds.
